Outcomes

In the last three years, Finance Club students have taken positions in investment banking, private equity, consulting, and asset management and as equity analysts and corporate analysts. They work from New York to California and have worked at companies including Citigroup, Bain, Ford, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Harris Williams, DA Davidson, UBS, and Williams Companies.

 

 

Finance Club

 

The University of Utah Finance Club prepares students to excel in the world of finance and management consulting. The group holds weekly meetings in which students prepare collaboratively for the job market. Activities include:

    • Résumé workshops
    • Industry speakers
    • Mock interviews
    • Networking opportunities
    • Job and internship posting

    Expectations of qualified students:

    • GPA of 3.5 or compelling résumé
    • Commitment to participate actively
    • Interest in a career in finance or management consulting
    • Open to all U of U undergrads (non finance majors are welcome)

     

    Finance Career Conference

    Join us on Saturday, March 3 from 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as we meet with professionals from New York, San Francisco, and Salt Lake, representing firms including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, UBS, RBS, Moelis and Leucadia. You can choose from seminars focusing on consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, sales & trading, and many other exciting careers in finance. This year's conference will feature a breakfast, a panel discussion, 3 sessions with professionals, lunch, and networking breaks. Space is limited, so sign up today.
